More Players Test Positive; March Madness Canceled! 3/12/20

It’s a Tuesday in the NBA as we have 5 games on the schedule tonight.

Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz All-Star has been tested positive for the coronavirus.

After yesterday’s shocking announcement that the NBA season would be suspended amidst the coronavirus took the league by storm, new information and competitions have been sidelined.

Donovan Mitchell has been tested positive for the coronavirus. Mitchell is teammates with Rudy Gobert, who is the 1st player in the NBA to contract the virus. No other Jazz players have been tested positive for the virus.

March Madness has been officially canceled. Yesterday, the NCAA announced that both the men and women’s tournaments would be played without fans, but as the NBA has been suspended indefinitely, the NCAA decided to follow suit and cancel the all-popular tournament as well. Along with March Madness, all other winter and spring championships and tournaments have been canceled or postponed.

As more information about the virus and what the NBA plans to do next comes out, I will be giving more information to you guys about what is going on. Very sad day for the NBA, and everybody around the world who has been affected, everybody’s thoughts and prayers go out to you.
