Bojan Bogdanovic Undergoes Surgery

Bojan Bogdanovic of the Utah Jazz is going to undergo a season ending wrist injury.

Bojan Bogdanovic, Utah Jazz

Today, we learned that Bojan Bogdanovic, star forward of the Utah Jazz, will be undergoing a season ending wrist surgery. The Jazz expect that Bogdanovic will be ready for the 2020-21 season.

Bogdanovic hurt his right wrist in late 2019, but he was playing through it, with considerable discomfort. Joe Ingles will likely take his starting job if the season resumes, but this will likely end the Jazz’s hopes at a deep playoff run.

Bogdanovic came to Utah from Indiana and was averaging 20.2 points on the Jazz, which was 2nd behind Donovan Mitchell. Without him, the Jazz won’t look the same, and there will likely be a major fall off with him not being on the court. The Jazz are currently 4th in the Western Conference, and would be playing the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round.

Do you think that the Jazz should have shut down Bogdanovic when he got injured, and do you still think the Jazz can be successful in the playoffs if the season resumes?
