NBA action continues around the league as we have a slate of 10 games on the schedule tonight.

Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks

My prediction before the game: Milwaukee Bucks

Both of these teams won their openers, and now they both look to improve to to 2-0.

Jimmy Butler is again not playing for the Miami Heat. Despite this, the Miami Heat were able to come from behind and win this game in OT, 131-126.

Goran Dragic had 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists. The MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo had 29 points, 17 rebounds, and 9 assists. The Miami Heat shot 46% from the field, and 36% from 3. The Heat also had more assists than the Bucks, winning that battle 33-22. So, even without Jimmy Butler, the Heat are now 2-0, while the Bucks lose their 1st game of the year and their home opener.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Detroit Pistons

My prediction before the game: Philadelphia 76ers

Joel Embiid will not be playing tonight because of a ankle injury and the Pistons looked to take advantage of that and improve to 2-1.

But, the 76ers were able to pick up the win, 117-111.

Tobias Harris had 29 points and 7 rebounds for the 76ers. Derrick Rose had another monster night, scoring 31 points. Both teams shot extremely well from the field, but the Pistons shot 54% from the field. They also shot 42% from 3. The 76ers did win the assists battle 30-20.

The 76ers start their season 2-0, and the Pistons drop their 2nd straight game and fall to 1-2.

Orlando Magic vs Atlanta Hawks

My prediction before the game: Orlando Magic

Both of these teams came in 1-0 as they both look for that 2nd straight win.

The Hawks were able to win their home opener by 4, 103-99. Trae Young had another dominate game, getting 39 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Evan Fournier had 23 points for the Orlando Magic. The Hawks shot 51% from the field and 30% from 3. The Orlando Magic did make 16 more free throws than the Hawks, 24-8. The young Hawks are now 2-0 while the Magic get their first loss of the year and they are now 1-1.

Boston Celtics vs New York Knicks

My prediction before the game: Boston Celtics

The Celtics are coming off their first win of the year as the Knicks look to get their first win at home.

The Celtics controlled the 2nd half and won 118-95. Kemba Walker had 32 points and 5 rebounds for the Celtics. Rookie RJ Barrett had 26 points and 7 rebounds. The Celtics shot 45% from the field and 37% from 3. The Knicks did make 7 more free throws than the Celtics, winning the battle 26-19. The Celtics have won 2 in a row and now sit at 2-1, while the Knicks start the season 0-3.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Houston Rockets

My prediction before the game: Houston Rockets

The Rockets were 0-1 and the New Orleans Pelicans were 0-2, coming into the game. Both of these teams are looking for their 1st win of the season.

The Rockets were able to hang on and win 126-123. The new duo of Harden and Westbrook combined for 57 points, 14 rebounds, and 18 assists.

This is what they can do. They showed pretty good chemistry and they were able to win the game.

Brandon Ingram had 35 points and 15 rebounds for the Pelicans. Both teams shot 46% from the field. The Pelicans shot 36% from 3. The Rockets made 14 more free throws than the Pelicans, winning 27-13. The Rockets win their first game with the new duo, and the Pelicans start of 0-3 without Zion Williamson.

Indiana Pacers vs Cleveland Cavaliers

My prediction before the game: Indiana Pacers

Both of these teams are 0-1 and they are looking for that first win of the new year.

The Cavaliers got the upset win and won 110-99. Tristan Thompson had 25 points and 13 rebounds. Malcolm Brogdon had 30 points and 10 assists.

Both teams shot well, but the Cavaliers shot 50% from the field. Both teams also shot well from 3, both shooting 36%. The Cavs beat the Pacers 54-48 in the paint. The Cavs get their first win of the year and are back at 0.500. The Pacers start their season 0-2 without Victor Oladipo.

Toronto Raptors vs Chicago Bulls

My prediction before the game: Toronto Raptors

The Raptors are 1-1 and the Bulls are also 1-1 as both teams look to pick up their 2nd win of the year.

The defending champs blew out the young Bulls 108-84. Pascal Siakam had 19 points and 6 rebounds. Wendell Carter Jr had 12 points and 11 rebounds. The Raptors shot 46% from the field and they made 15 3’s on 36%. The Raptors now have a 2-1 record while the Bulls fall to 1-2.

Washington Wizards vs San Antonio Spurs

My prediction before the game: San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs are 1-0 and the Wizards are 1-1, as both teams look to get their 2nd win of the year.

The Spurs won a close battle 126-124. LaMarcus Aldridge had 27 points and 10 rebounds for the Spurs. Bradley Beal had 25 points and 11 assists. Both teams shot well, but the Wizards shot 50% from the field. The Wizards also shot 47% from 3. The Spurs outscored the Wizards 66-46 in the paint. The Spurs are now 2-0, while the Wizards are 1-2.

Sacramento Kings vs Utah Jazz

My prediction before the game: Utah Jazz

The Kings face the Utah Jazz on the road as they look for their 1st win of the season. The Jazz obliterated the Kings 113-81.

Bojan Bogdanovic had 26 points for Utah. Dewayne Dedmon had 11 points and 6 rebounds. The Jazz shot 57% from the field and 49% from 3. The Jazz had 28 assists to the Kings 16. The Jazz are now 2-1 on the year, while the Kings drop to 0-3.

LA Clippers vs Phoenix Suns

My prediction before the game: LA Clippers

The LA Clippers look for their 3rd straight win of the season as they travel to the desert to play Phoenix.

The Suns will be without Ricky Rubio. The Suns surprisingly pulled off the upset and they won 130-122. Devin Booker had 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists. Montrezl Harrell had 28 points and 7 rebounds.

Both teams shot well, but the Suns shot 50% from the field. They also made 17 3’s on 39%. The Suns also beat the Clippers 31-17 in terms of assists. This was a very surprising and impressive win for the Suns. They scored and shot the ball really well against a good Clippers defense, and they were able to slow down the Clippers enough of offense to win the game. The Suns are now 2-1, while the Clippers fall to 2-1.

Predictions: 6-4
