Houston and Brooklyn Win in Asia! Steph Drops 40! NBA Preseason 2019 10/10

It’s October 10th as we have some preseason action again. We have the defending champion Toronto Raptors take on James Harden and Houston Rockets from Japan, as well as the Brooklyn Nets and Lebron and Lakers playing from China.

The first game of the day was the Toronto Raptors vs Houston Rockets. James Harden and Russell Westbrook led a balanced attack with a combined 44 points, 13 assists, and 6 rebounds. For the Raptors, Norman Powell led the way with 22 points, and Pascal Siakam had 16 points as well. The Rockets ended up winning 118-111 from the Saitama Stadium in Japan.

The Lakers and the Nets were also playing in Asia, but they were playing in Shanghai, China, amidst all the drama between the NBA and China. Spencer Dinwiddie had 20 to lead the way for the Nets, and Taurean Prince added 18. On the other side, Lebron James had 20, and Rajon Rondo had 18 for the purple and gold. The Nets ended up winning a very competitive game, winning 114-111 in their first preseason game of the year.

Steph Curry dropped 40 points in a 143-123 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
