Kawhi’s Revenge, Kemba Cooking! 11/11/19

It’s Veterans Day and the NBA action continues with 6 games.

Happy Veterans Day to everybody, hope you are doing well, and thank you to all of our brave men and women for protecting our country.

After suffering a broken left hand against the Spurs, Gordon Hayward had surgery on his hand and he will be out for about 6 weeks. Hayward was playing really well, and now Boston has to fare without him for a while.

Khris Middleton will be out for 2-3 weeks after suffering a left thigh contusion. The Bucks will be in big trouble as they will be without their 2nd option of offense, and their 2nd best player.

De’Aaron Fox suffered a sprained ankle while practicing with the Kings. He will be out for 3-4 weeks. The Kings best scorer and play maker will be out, and the Kings, who are already struggling, will have another roadblock thrown their way.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Detroit Pistons

Prediction: Detroit Pistons

Blake Griffin will be making his season debut as the Pistons face the Timberwolves.

But, even with Griffin’s return, the Timberwolves still won 120-104.

Andrew Wiggins had 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Timberwolves.

Luke Kennard had 25 points and 7 rebounds for the Pistons.

The Timberwolves shot 51% from the field, and the Pistons shot 50% from 3. The teams combined for 33 turnovers.

The Timberwolves are now 6-4 on the year, and the Pistons have dropped to 4-7.

Dallas Mavericks vs Boston Celtics

Prediction: Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic and company travel to Boston for a great match up.

Even with Luka Magic, the Celtics did manage to win 116-106.

Kemba Walker had 29 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Celtics.

Luka Doncic had 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists for the Mavs.

The Celtics shot 48% from the field, and 43% from 3. Both teams had 48 points in the paint.

The Celtics found a way to win even without Gordon Hayward as they are now 8-1 on the year, and the Mavericks have dropped to 6-4.

Houston Rockets vs New Orleans Pelicans

Prediction: Houston Rockets

The Rockets look for their 4th straight win as they go down south to play the Pelicans. The Pelicans will be without Brandon Ingram tonight.

The Rockets were able to pick up the win, 122-116.

James Harden had 39 points and 9 assists for the Rockets.

JJ Reddick had 24 points for the Pelicans.

The Rockets shot 52% from the field, and the Pelicans shot 31% from 3. Both teams had 52 points in the paint.

The Rockets have won 4 in a row and are now 7-3 on the year, and the Pelicans continue their struggles at 2-8.

Memphis Grizzlies vs San Antonio Spurs

Prediction: San Antonio Spurs

The young Grizzlies travel to Texas to take on the veteran Spurs.

The Grizzlies did manage to pull off the upset, 113-109.

Jaren Jackson Jr. had 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Grizzlies.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 19 points for the Spurs.

The Grizzlies shot 51% from the field, and the Spurs shot 40% from 3. The Grizzlies had 48 points in the paint, and the Spurs had just 32.

The Grizzlies are now 3-7 on the year, and the Spurs have dropped to 5-5.

Toronto Raptors vs LA Clippers

Prediction: LA Clippers

Kawhi Leonard will be facing his former team the Toronto Raptors tonight from Staples Center.

The Clippers were able to pick up the win, winning 98-88.

Lou Williams had 21 points for the Clippers.

Pascal Siakam had 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists for the Raptors.

The Raptors shot 40% from the field, and 37% from 3. The Clippers made 22 free throws and the Raptors only made 9.

The Clippers have now improved to 7-3 on the year, and the Raptors have fallen to 7-3.

Utah Jazz vs Golden State Warriors

Prediction: Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz come to the new Chase Arena in San Francisco to face the Golden State Warriors. Draymond Green will be playing tonight for the Warriors.

The Jazz won this game easily, 122-108.

Rudy Gobert had 25 points and 14 rebounds for the Jazz.

D’Angelo Russell had 33 points and 8 assists for the Warriors.

The Jazz shot 49% from the field, and 46% from 3. The Jazz also made 26 free throws and the Warriors only made 8.

The Jazz are now 7-3 on the year, and the Warriors have fallen to 2-9.
