After 3 games of action from Day 11 of the NBA Playoffs, a few topics arose. Today I will be talking about Donovan Mitchell and Jamal Murray along with the Boston Celtics.

Murray vs Mitchell

Jamal Murray and Donovan Mitchell have been caught up in one of the best duels in the playoffs that we have seen in a while. Between the two stars, we have seen the best 1st round series this season. Now with the series heading to 7 games, what can we expect from these two in Game 7.

With this series being a shoot-out with not much defense being played, expect a lot from these two in Tuesday. Both teams have been consistently shooting above 50% from the field and Murray and Mitchell have been shooting well over 60% from the field in this series.

But these two might have a let down. Murray looked exhausted after Game 6, and after these two have been doing what they have been doing, they might feel some fatigue. So while the defense might be a little bad, these two might be a little worse than the last two games.

But these two have been putting on a show and it would not surprise me if they proved me wrong. One thing is for sure. The best playoff rivalry this year will be Murray vs Mitchell, and these two are going to electrifying Game 7.

Boston Celtics

The Celtics dominated their first round series behind the great play of Jayson Tatum. But now they would face a real opponent in the defending champion Toronto Raptors. This series would be close and competitive, and it would be a dogfight.

Yeah, not really. The Celtics ran circles around the Raptors as their offense and defense dominated the Raptors. But their are a few questions after their Game 1 performance. Can they sustain this, and are they serious contenders?

The answer to the first question is yes, because we’ve seen this from the Celtics time and time again. None of their stars didn’t even play well. It was juts a team performance. But if their offense can be explosive as it is, and their defense plays like a top tier defense, they can win this series. And they are very capable of sustaining this. But they are playing a very good Raptors team, so it certainly won’t be easy.

The 2nd question we will have to wait and see the answer to. If the Celtics can sustain their level to play throughout this series, then yes you can call them a scary matchup. But if the Celtics become inconsistent, even if they win this series, they might not beat the Bucks or Heat. So that question we will have to wait and see.
