NBA Finals Game 4
Pre Game: It’s Game 4 of the NBA Finals from the Bay Area. Klay Thompson is expected to play in Game 4 while Kevin Durant is out once again.
Game 1: It’s Game 4 of the NBA Finals as the #1 Warriors look to even the series against the #3 Raptors who look to take a 3-1 series lead and all but close out the Warriors. The Raptors played great, 6 players in double figures led by Kawhi Leonard who had 30. The Warriors, who were without Thompson and Durant struggled in offense. Curry did all that he could, scoring a playoff career high 47, but only 2 other Warriors were in double figures. With Klay Thompson playing, he looks to help Curry on the offensive side. At the end of a sloppy first quarter, the Warriors led by 8, 25-17. Steph Curry had 6, Kawhi was the Raptors only offense, scoring 14 of the 17. The Raptors shot 6/21 with Kawhi shooting 5/8, so the rest of the team shot 1/13. That’s not going to cut it. They need to start making shots if they want to stay in the game. At the half, the Raptors only trailed by 4, 46-42. Klay Thompson had 14, Leonard was held scoreless in the 2nd, but still had 14. Leonard had more help but the shooting was still poor. But to be only down 4 after a bad half is a good sign and that their defense is holding down the ship. The Raptors stormed back in the 3rd and outscored the Warriors 37-21, leading 79-67 at the end of the 3rd. Kawhi Leonard had 17 in the quarter, 31 for the game. Klay Thompson had 22 for the Warriors. The Raptors managed to win, their biggest win in franchise history. The eventually won 105-92. Kawhi had 36, Thompson and Curry combined for 55. The Raptors played dismal in the 1st half but only trailed by 4 at the half. The Raptors played as best a 3rd quarter as he could have, and held on in the 4th. This was the most important game in their franchise history and they only have 1 more game to go from their first ever NBA Championship.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post of Game 4, please leave a comment if you think that Raptors will win on Sunday during Game 5 or will the Warriors steal one and force Game 6. Enjoy the rest of the NBA Finals!
