So, lots of news has happened around the NBA and some of the headlines involve teams that are not even in the playoffs.

Cavaliers Find New Coach: The Cleveland have found their new coach in John Beilein, a long time coach at Michigan. Beilein had a very impressive career including 2 trips to the Final Four, 2 x Big 10 Tournament Champion, and many more. He agreed to be the Cavaliers coach on a 5 year deal with the team. He will the 3rd coach in a row that has never had any NBA experience.

Playoff Injuries: Kevin Durant will miss Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Blazers because he is dealing with a calf-strain. Rodney Hood is questionable for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Warriors because he suffered a left knee bone bruise in Game 7 against the Nuggets.

Kristaps Porzingis was jumped outside a club in his hometown in Latvia. On security cameras, Porzingis was seen with a bloody forehead and ripped shirt. The people who did this were Russians who were mad that Porzingis left the Knicks. Pretty stupid reason if you ask me.

So, I hope that tells you all you need to know about the NBA headlines, please stay tuned for tomorrow as I cover the NBA Draft Lottery and Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals where #1 Golden State faces #3 Portland.
