Playoffs Day 10
Pre Game: It’s the 10th day of NBA action as the we have 2 closeout games on the schedule, including #4 Houston vs #5 Utah and #1 Milwaukee vs #8 Detroit. Both Houston and Milwaukee are up 3-0 in the series and are looking to sweep their series and advance to the 2nd round. Both Utah and Detroit are hoping to win on their home floor and extend the series to a Game 5.
Game 1: In the 1st game of the night, the #1 Milwaukee Bucks play the #8 Detroit Pistons. The Bucks won Game 3 even though Giannis did not play well. The Pistons are hoping to win Game 4 and extend the series to 5 games. If not, the Pistons will rebuild in the offseason, hoping to make a deeper playoff run. The Bucks eventually won the game 127-104. Giannis had 41 points, Reggie Jackson had 26 points. The Bucks sweep the Pistons and they advance to the 2nd round to play #4 Boston. That series will be very fun to watch, but Boston has more experience, and they have more depth than the Bucks do, but it will be an interesting series.
Game 2: In the 2nd game of the night, the #4 Houston goes on the road to play #5 Utah. Utah lost a close Game 3 and are now in a 3-0 hole. The Rockets are looking for the clean sweep, but the Jazz are trying to make it a gentleman’s sweep. Jae Crowder had a great first half and Donovan Mitchell had a great 4th quarter, a quarter in which the Jazz outscored the Rockets 31-12 and won the game 107-91. Mitchell had 31 points, 23 for Jae Crowder, James Harden had 30 points, Chris Paul added 23 points. The Jazz took their first game of the series, but still, find themselves down 3-1. No team has ever come back from a 3-0 series deficit, but 3 teams have forced Game 7’s.
