Game 1: It’s the first game of the Western Conference Finals between Steph Curry and the Warriors and Dame Lillard and the Blazers. Kevin Durant will not play so Curry and Thompson will need to step it up. Rodney Hood will be play for the Blazers. At the end of the 1st quarter, the Warriors led by 4, 27-23. Curry had 8 points for the Warriors, Lillard and Harkless had 7 points for the Blazers. At halftime, the Warriors led by 9, 54-45. Curry had 19 points, Damian Lillard had 12 points. The Blazers are defending the Green and Curry pick and roll so poorly, Curry getting easy looks. Kanter or whoever it is has to hedge the screen and stop the easy looks. The Blazers managed to stay in the game even though they shot and played poorly, down by 6, 77-71. Stephen Curry had 33 points and CJ McCollum had 15 points. The Blazers could not stop the Warriors and their 3’s, and they never got their offense going. They eventually lost 94-116. The Blazers got outscored 39-23 in the 4th. Steph Curry had 36 points, Damian Lillard had 19 points. The Warriors now take a 1-0 series lead in the series, and if the Blazers don’t play better, they will bet swept.
