Playoffs Day 32
Pre Game: It’s the 32nd day of NBA Playoff action, as we have Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between #1 Golden State vs #3 Portland.
Game 1: It’s the one and only game on the schedule, and it’s #1 Golden State vs #3 Portland. Curry and Thompson torched the Blazers with how they were defending the pick-and-roll. The Warriors will not have Kevin Durant again for Game 2, and the Blazers look to tie the series at 1-1. At the end of the 1st quarter, the Blazers were up by 2, 31-29. Al-Farouq Aminu had 9 points, Stephen Curry had 12 for the Warriors. Damian Lillard has scoreless in the 1st quarterm but the Blazers were still up. This is a good sign, but they need Lillard to get going if they want to win this game. The Blazers played a great 2nd quarter, leading by 15, 65-50. Lillard and McCollum combined for 26. Curry had 19 for the Warriors. The Blazers need to keep this up if they want to win. The Warriors went on on of those runs, and tied the game, 89-89 at the end of the 3rd. Stephen Curry had 30 points at the end of the 3rd, CJ and Dame combined for 39. The Blazers could not execute down the stretch and lost 114-111. Curry had 37, Lillard and McCollum combined for 45 points. As a Blazers fan, the Blazers had 2 great chances to win and they blew them both. Now as the series shifts back to Portland, Portland is looking to stay alive.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post of the Western Conference Finals as we have more playoff action in the coming days. Please leave a comment on how your team is doing and any suggestions I should do in future posts. Enjoy the rest of the NBA Playoffs!
