Playoffs Day 39

Pre Game: Welcome back and today we have Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Game 1: It’s the one and only game of the night as we have Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals between #1 Milwaukee and #3 Toronto. Toronto won a crucial Game 5 on the road in Milwaukee behind Kawhi Leonard’s big night. Now they look to win the series in 6 games at home and advance to their first ever NBA Finals in franchise history. The Bucks look to force Game 7 back at home and hopefully come back from down 3-2 in the series and advance to their first finals appearance since 1970-71 with Kareem-Abdul Jabbar and Oscar Robinson. Whoever wins this series will face the Golden State Warriors who are in their 5th straight finals, looking for the 3-peat. Rumors have been circulating that DeMarcus Cousins, who tore his quad in the 1st round against the Los Angeles Clippers, could return before Kevin Durant, who is dealing with a calf-strain since Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the Houston Warriors. The Bucks led bug early, by as many as 15, but they only led by 7 at the half, 50-43. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 10 points for the Bucks, Pascal Siakam had 11 points for the Raptors. At the end 3rd quarter, the Bucks led by 5, 76-71. Giannis had 18, Kawhi had 19 for the Raptors. With 7.0 seconds left, the Raptors led by 4, 99-95. Siakam missed the 2nd free throw, but the Raptors got the board. Kawhi Leonard made the 1st, making it a 99-94 game. He made the 2nd, and they led by 6, 100-94. The Raptors managed to hang on and win 100-94. They outscored the Bucks 29-18 in the 4th. Kawhi Leonard had 27 points, Giannis had 21 for the Bucks. The Raptors no advance to their first finals in franchise history to take on the Warriors. That will no doubt be a great series. For the Bucks, it’s a bitter way to end the year, but Giannis will only get better, and they hope to make a deep playoff run again next year. I think that Kawhi will not leave now because the Raptors are going to the finals and might get a ring.
