Should The Celtics Be Worried And What To Expect From LA?

After two games from Day 15 of the NBA Playoffs, I’m talking about a few topics from Day 15, including the Boston Celtics and the LA Clippers.

After two games from Day 15 of the NBA Playoffs, I’m talking about a few topics from Day 15, including the Boston Celtics and the LA Clippers.

Boston Celtics

After losing a heart-breaking Game 3, the Celtics now lead 2-1 in this series. But should they really be worried? Of course the series is now closer than it was, but should the Celtics be sweating?

And the answer is no. For starters, it took a rare mistake from Brad Stevens on the final possession for the Raptors to win. Tacko Fall should not have been in the game as he was moving too much and Lowry got a clean pass off. The Celtics should not have been playing zone as they couldn’t allow a 3. And when you play zone, it becomes easier for the offense to shoot 3’s.

Anyway, besides that mishap, the Celtics were in a great position to win this game. Jayson Tatum went 5/18 from the field, which doesn’t happen often. Jaylen Brown didn’t play great either. So the Celtics didn’t play great, and they still held the lead for most of this game. And it took so many things to go wrong on that final possession for the Raptors to win.

I expect the Celtics to bounce back in Game 4 and end this series. As good as the Raptors are, the Celtics looked much better in the first two games of this series and they know what to do in order to win. So expect a lot better performance from Boston in Game 4.

LA Clippers

For just the 13th time this season, the Clippers had a full roster with no major guys out. And they dominated. They looked great on both ends of the floor and they seemed unstoppable. But the question is, can they keep this up?

The only time that the Clippers lost this season with a full roster was to the LA Lakers. But they have won the other 12 times. And it seems like they have so many weapons that they can’t be stopped. And that’s because they can’t And Game 1 is a perfect example of that.

Paul George was quiet and he still had 19 points. But with Kawhi, Marcus Morris, Harrell, and Williams also playing well, Paul George does not need to play amazing. And that is the best part of this team. 5 guys are capable of scoring 20 points on any given night, and only 2-3 of them need to do it in order to be successful.

On top of that you have great role players like Pat Beverley, Landry Shamet, and Ivica Zubac. This team has so many guys who can do so many things and they are so versatile on both ends.

So when the Clippers are at full strength, they are unstoppable. But the only way they can lost is themselves. Without any energy or effort, you see what they can be like. All they have to do is remain focused and have some energy on both ends, and they will not lose.
